Name Badges Put Customers at Ease

I own a pest control company, and I make sure that all of my new hires have a name badge before they ever see a customer. The reason for this is because I’ve realized that name badges put customers at ease. Name badges do not have to be elaborate or fancy, but they should at least name the employee and the business. As many of my employees must be invited into my customer’s homes in order to do their jobs, I consider it of the utmost importance that my customer feel comfortable. We live in a day and age where anyone can go to the store and buy a pair of work pants and shirt; when my workers knock on a customer’s door, that customer first and foremost gets to see a name badge with my company logo and the name of the technician who was scheduled to come out and see them.

When giving birthday cards, there are a lot of things that we must take into consideration. Although these cards are ultimate gifts on such occasions, we must also exert effort to make sure that we are giving appropriate cards to the recipients. We do not want to create bad impressions so we better take care of all the details and make it work.
At times, although our intentions are good, we can make a mess by sending out inappropriate cards for people who are celebrating their birthdays. For instance, we may send a humorous birthday card that may offend the recipient because we did not consider their personality.
Hence, we must see whether the recipient can appreciate funny messages or the will be more comfortable with sentimental and serious contents. We may also examine the funny contents and see if it will be just right for a person. For instance, we must not give cards that make fun of aging when the recipient is afraid of aging or do no age gracefully.
Daughters House Warming Gift is a New Sewing Machine

My daughter just got her first place after graduating from college. She found a decent job with an accounting firm that will pay her well and help her get her masters and CPA. So she found a little condo and qualified and bought it. It is small two bedroom place but it will be just right for her. She doesn’t want room mates and who can blame her after four years of college. Well for a house warming gift I wanted to get her a sewing machine. She has always been fairly good at sewing and has made some nice things over the years. Well I got online and started doing some research. I found a site that had best sewing machine reviews. It took some of the most popular models online and gave features, specs and reviews. It was nice to find so much info in one place. I was able to quickly decide on the Brother Project Runway as a good little machine for my daughter.

Our School’s Graduation

I bought the Pipe and Drape kits by OnlineEEI.com for our school’s graduation. The original purpose of these drapes was to cover the windows and walls, but after reviewing the website some more, we figured we can use it as a backdrop behind the stage. This turned out perfect because at the end of the ceremony, we show a video of the kids and they love it. We set up the white, adjustable height drape behind the stage and the portable drapes over the windows and walls. By choosing white, we were able to project the movie onto the drape, and it turned out perfectly. The parents of these young children loved it and complimented on how fancy our drapes looked. Because our graduation was suppose to be outside on the football field, we had to come up with an idea of how to cover the light coming in through the windows and doors, so we covered them with black drapes. This idea came out to be wonderful and made the graduation look beautiful.
