There are a lot pell grant changes for 2012 and you need to learn what’s going on. One of the major changes that you need to know about is that the period of time that you will receive this for has been shortened to 8 full semesters. The good news is that th amount for each year has not gone down which is something that most students feared because of tuition hikes. I think that the pell grant is good but it certainly does need some changes. Another thing that was changed is the requirements for th grant itself. Now, you have to have graduated from high school in order to be eligible for it. This is perhaps one of the bigger changes that occured. Whatever the case the may be, you need to learn to find alternative ways to pay for college. The pell grant changes for 2012 are not to much but certainly important.
